The Joys of Celebrating Festivals

           It is not surprising that Filipinos are saddened to find that festival celebrations are currently prohibited due to COVID-19 restrictions. Filipinos always show their bright smiles when it comes to celebrating festivals. It is one of the country's sources of joy. Sinulog, MassKara, Dinagyang, Panagbenga, and Pintados are among of the most prominent festivals in the Philippines, and they are held in various parts of the country. These are celebrated to promote each province's most popular products and to show gratitude to the patron saints for abundant blessings.       There are also a number of festivals held in Ilocos Sur every year. Ilocanos show their appreciation by participating in various festival-related activities.
