A Time for Giving

        Our favorite time of year is nearing, and the pandemic is still present, limiting our ability to travel and meet our loved ones from various places. This will be our second time coping with the pandemic during the holiday season. Nonetheless, we Filipino Christians will not be deterred from celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Christmas lights and trees can be seen as early as September. Every Filipino, especially children, can be seen beaming with delight as they await the arrival of Christmas to receive gifts from their family and godparents. This is the time when the family gets together to celebrate and bond while enjoying the feast that has been prepared.
