A Girl With Big Dreams

         Hi! My name is Roanne Alviar Alimboyoguen, and I am from Ayusan Norte, Vigan City. I turned 15 this year on August 10th, and I am currently a grade 10 student at Ilocos Sur National High School. I live with my parents and two older brothers. I also have three dogs and a hamster as pets. I am working hard to finish school so that one day I can provide the best life for my family. Now, let’s get to know more about me!

       I am a girl with big dreams. I like to try and explore new things. I try to find what more I can do and what skills I possess in order to further develop the abilities that God has given me. I love organizing things because I can't stand having a mess around the house. My hobbies are cooking, sewing, and crocheting. When I'm bored, I'll pick up my ukulele and play. I have a soft spot for dogs. I prefer to work in a quiet environment because it allows me to think more clearly. I focus only on my studies, so I try to avoid any distractions that could negatively affect my academic performance. As of now, I'm still unsure about what profession I want to pursue, but I'm considering becoming a doctor. My brother is currently pursuing a medical degree, so hopefully, I will be the next doctor in our family. I am not rushing things in my life because I believe that they will come at the right time. I hope to build my own business that can represent all of the hard work that I have gone through and continue to go through. I would also like to have a family that I can call my own someday. I dream big because who knows, maybe they will come true if I do my best and believe in myself.

         Generally speaking, I am contented and happy with my life. I understand that I am still young and that I should enjoy my life without neglecting my responsibilities as a daughter and a member of society. It’s okay to let your heart out once in a while to release any burdens you've been carrying. I want to share my happiness with others, and I will not give up on my dreams. I will do my best to turn my dreams into reality, to help other people, and to make my parents proud.
