One Down, Three More To Go

Ever since a new learning approach was implemented, I have always hoped that things would soon go back to normal. In my opinion, distance learning is not that bad, but it is not as excellent or as effective as face-to-face learning. During the first quarter of this school year, I have gained a lot of new knowledge that I will be able to apply in the future. For instance, in the subject ICT, I have learned more about the internet. The subject also taught me the importance of blogging and why students should blog.

Learning in the midst of a pandemic is never easy. It comes with its own set of advantages and disadvantages. There are some subjects that I find difficult. But as I continued with this learning method, I eventually became used to it. Since this is not my first time participating in distance learning, I have developed ways of managing my time and studying effectively. However, I experience a lot of stress at times, which is normal for a student like me. I try to distract myself from negative thoughts by taking a deep breath and looking at a pulchritudinous view. The new normal education has taught me the importance of rest and not putting too much pressure on ourselves because it will not make things better.

With that being said, the First Quarter was a good start for me as a student. However, I am still optimistic that we will be able to see each other in school again soon. I'm hoping to do well in the coming quarters, and I'll try my best and work hard to achieve my goals and have a brighter future. Always remember that hard work pays off, thus we must fight and remain strong until we achieve and reach our goals.
